WORD COUNT: Just 451 Short, but Powerful Words
TIME TO READ: About 2 Tiny Little Minutes

The best leaders create highly motivated workplaces by acting as
architects
. They mindfully design, plan, coordinate, and guide their organizations toward a vision of an ideal that speaks to the heart and the head. Think of this role as a Chief Workplace Architect that provides the vision, the tools and strategies to create a healthy and robust organization. Depending on the size and structure of your business, this may be a business owner, executive, or director.

To maximize the powerful impact of a compelling vision
requires a system that helps you:

* Accurately assess the issues that are limiting your organization’s
potential

* Build a simple plan, so you can achieve your desired results faster

* Create a compelling vision and inspiring goals that move you and
your organization positively forward to your highest ideal of what
your business could be

* Choose the most effective strategies to address your unique
goals and dreams

* Connect your managers with their critical role in taking your team
to the next level

* Use natural business rhythms to create and expand your vision of
a Perfect Workplace and Top Performing Business

When you engage your team in visioning and planning, and then actively manage your cultural health, you create the foundation for high achievement AND meaningful work.

Highly motivated environments don’t just happen … they are created. If you’ve imagined more enthusiasm, commitment, fulfilling relationships and a healthier bottom line, you have within you the ability to make that vision a reality.

That’s exactly what the Motivation-at-Work system was designed to do; provide you with an easy to follow blueprint that will help you build the business you truly envision.

Would you develop a new product or service without careful research and planning? Of course not; you would use a blue print or a prototype before you started to mass produce a new product or service.

You and your team can do, be or create whatever you imagine.  But first your must believe you can, and you can get there faster when you use a good map.

Motivation at Work: Transform Your Business in 6 Extraordinary Steps is a book that walks you through the process of workplace transformation in six easy steps. It also gives you tools and strategies to help you bring out the best in your people and unlock
the potential of every person.

There’s no better time than now to show appreciation. It may seem obvious to talk about gratitude the day beforeThanksgiving, but there truly is no better time to be reminded that the two most powerful words in the English language are Thank You.

We love to feel appreciated and when we thank others, we show how much we value them. For no one wants to feel as if they do not make a difference. When we say thank you, whether to customers, employees, vendors, your spouse or best friend, you are honoring those you appreciate. You are saying “Your life has meaning and purpose… What you do and who you are matters to me.”

Is there a better gift to give than one of thanksgiving?

The power of appreciation was depicted beautifully in a Saratoga Institute survey in which they asked 20,000 existing employees why they left. Money was not the issue and rarely is. In the Top 5 was feeling undervalued and unappreciated. No surprises there.

So consider that we are truly fortunate. Something that is so simple and costs nothing, give us so much in return.

Thank you is a treasure that really keeps on giving.

May you know deep gratitude and appreciation this Thanksgiving and always! Thank YOU for subscribing!

All the best!

Laura

Got Purpose?

In order to create a workplace that supports purpose, meaningful work and fun,  as well as high profits,  you need to start first with what that looks like.

Start by using your imagination and then invite everyone on your team to share in the excitement of creating something truly extraordinary.

Everything starts with an idea first and by inviting others to share in painting a picture of your perfect workplace, you can truly create a masterpiece.

Once the human mind begins to contemplate all of the qualities and attributes of  perfect work, the  perfect environment, interactions, relationships, customers and results … the answers will naturally come.

When you start with visualizing what’s possible, you open the floodgates to much bigger and better things.

So ask everyone in your workplace  …What are the qualities and attributes of your perfect workplace?

What does it look like?  How do people interact and work together? What are you doing? How do you feel about coming to work everyday?  Tell me about the perfect customers, financial results and compensation?

It is possible to create anything you desire, including a workplace that supports great prosperity and joy for all … but first you must believe it can be so!

Enjoy your  journey!

Ideals are the invisible templates that govern the physical form of nature. ~ Plato

Thoughts and ideas provide the mold by which you create your life and business. Your life is a mirror that reflects what you truly believe. So, the fundamental and most important ingredient for creating the life and business you want lies in … preparing your mental atmosphere by aligning your thoughts and feelings to support your intentions.

If you want more joy, be joyous, if you want more money, wisdom, courage, a new car, time with your children … you can! But … only if you think you can … and only if you are willing to align your thoughts, feelings and actions with what it is you want!

You can not change what you do not acknowledge first. You can’t dissolve limiting beliefs or habits if you get stuck in self-criticism. So don’t beat yourself up for what hasn’t happened yet. It will come when you least expect it.
Dare to dream big and believe in yourself!

For you can do, be or create absolutely anything you can imagine.

Have an awesome journey!

team work shiloette.jpgUsing your unique gifts and talents, and exploring personal interests and hobbies are essential ingredients for a fulfilling life.   The truth is we’re happiest when we are using our unique talents to express who we truly are. We experience more joy and satisfaction when our personal and professional decisions are aligned with our unique definition of success, and when we make time in our life to pursue personal interests and hobbies.

So knowing what you want to experience more of in your life and business, helps you create a plan to get there.  In going through this process, you may find you want to refine your current business model to support your vision of an ideal lifestyle or it may mean eliminating some habits that no longer serve you, or strengthening your resolve to say no to the things that don’t move you toward your desired destination.

It’s time to give yourself permission to take care of your own needs too. You are worth taking care of!  You simply can’t keep caring for everyone else, at the expense of your own needs. To better serve those you care about, you must serve your Self too.

Feed your spirit AND your bottom line. When spirit comes first, everything else will fall in line.
