Conscious Creation

Abstract ButterflyYou simply can not create or achieve what you do not believe in. So start there first.

Whatever your goal, no matter how large or seemingly  insurmountable, you must first believe that you can create, attract and have it.

Convince yourself and know that your vision is absolutely possible.
For you have the power to choose what you believe by simply cultivating thoughts that support your vision of a perfect, business, workplace or lifestyle.

Ernest Holmes once said …

… each is drawing from Life what he thinks into it.
To learn how to think is to learn how to live.

So, be mindful of what you think and say, for it defines what you
can accomplish and what you can attract in business and in life.

If you want to cultivate more enthusiasm, more prosperity or harmony, you must first believe that it is within your reach.

Success comes when we believe we will succeed, and when we are willing to align our thoughts and actions with what we want!

Thoughts are so much more than things… they are the cause of things!
So believe first, then move forward knowing that you can do absolutely anything you can imagine!

Have an awesome and thoughtful journey!

Every moment in every day is an opportunity to live your dream. Within every moment lies the opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in your life.

There are 480 minutes in a typical workday and 960 waking minutes in an average day.

So, you have 350,400 waking minutes in a year to do something  extraordinary  … something that has meaning and significance
to you on a personal level.

So what are you most passionate about? What makes your heart sing?

What would you do if you knew no limits, no fear and knew
you could not fail?

Every moment is an opportunity to do that one thing.

Refuse to be lulled into thinking that you’ll do it tomorrow. For tomorrow may become just another day of more of the same thoughts and actions that keep you trapped in a hypnotic routine  and on autopilot.

To be 100% alive, dare to dream BIG and then dare to take the actions necessary to move your dream forward.

For you are so worth every single step.

Choose to do it now and you will move positively forward toward your unique and awe-inspiring goals!

When you do, you’ll experience more joy in every area of your life, because you are letting your light shine as brightly as it can.

Just do it and have an awesome journey!

Competition Crystal Consider competitive behavior in business. You can group it into three categories and three different approaches, which determines the quality of your relationships and your growth potential.

1.  External; how you choose to focus on people and organizations that offer similar services

2.  Internal; how you view and interact with others inside your organization

3.  Individual; your internal dialogue for your own growth or individual performance

Within each of these three areas: external, internal or individual, competition can destroy, limit potential, or give you opportunities for extraordinary personal and professional growth, depending on your perspective.

The first view is the traditional win-lose or the “all or nothing” approach. It is based on conflict, animosity and a fear of scarcity.

The second perspective is the win-win approach which tries to make everyone a winner, but is still based on scarcity. So, people “go along to get along”; this approach is frustrating because it limits potential. With this approach, you’re trying to split the same size pie, and everyone just gets a smaller piece.  No one really feels like a winner, but it’s an improvement over the first approach.

Then there’s a more enlightened approach, one that sees competition as collaboration to “grow the pie”. You work together to make it bigger, so everyone gets more. This approach is based on growth, mutual respect and a belief in abundance. It’s transformational and evolutionary and can lead to exceptional growth and fulfillment that goes beyond the bottom line.

The approach we use determines the quality of the results we attract. Many people unconsciously adopt an approach based on what they’ve observed or have been taught. However, by simply becoming aware that you can change your thinking about competition… gives you the ability to consciously choose a different approach, one that helps you transform and grow in ways you may not have imagined.

So, you have a choice about how to grow your business and build your team. You can use the traditional approach - win/lose, or try to placate using a win-win approach, or you can choose to create a bigger pie.

Here’s to an awesome journey!

believe.jpgA dream is an ideal involving a sense of possibilities rather than probabilities, of potential, rather than limits. A dream is the wellspring of passion, giving us direction and pointing us to lofty heights. It is an expression of optimism, hope, and values lofty enough to capture the imagination and engage the spirit.
Dreams grab us and move us. They are capable of lifting us to new heights and
overcoming self-imposed limitations.
- Robert Kriegel

As you work through business projects, process changes or workplace transitions, consider how you are focusing on your goals. Sometimes a mistake or a few steps in  the wrong direction can seem overwhelming. When this happens, look toward the purpose behind the goals to lift you above the obstacles. Don’t allow your thoughts to linger on the problems. Yes, they need to be considered, but do so in light of the desired end result …the dream of what could be.

There is always some underlying purpose that will propel you to positive action. If little things are constantly bringing you down, that may be a sign that the goals just aren’t compelling enough … or you are focused on problems instead of solutions. It is all too easy to get stuck in the mire and when that happens, change and growth come to a screeching halt.

Examine your thinking and the dream behind the goals. Then, create a message that has juice … one that will motivate and inspire you and your team. This is how we see the possibilities rather than the probabilities. This is where we engage the spirit and  breakthrough limiting beliefs and behaviors to accomplish great things.

Look beyond the obstacles, mistakes and setbacks. Dig deeply to discover the rich, special purpose that makes this transition, initiative or change meaningful at a personal and organizational level.

Focus your attention on the purpose of the journey rather than the detours.

As you move forward, you may take some wrong turns, we all make them. Don’t let that stop you from moving forward. Our mistakes are our greatest opportunities for growth. When we learn from mistakes, we know how to move confidently forward.

Your goals and dreams are yours to achieve at any moment through your thoughts and actions. The way you choose to think, focus and act will make all the difference in the world. Now is your time to achieve your best idea, best team, and best work community.

Here’s to an awe-inspiring journey!

To remove darkness in a room, you turn on a light.

In the same way… if you want to resolve a business issue, improve a process, or expand enthusiasm, simply concentration on the solution rather than the problem.

This may seem obvious, but observe your thinking when you’re contemplating a recurring business issue. It’s easy to get caught up in frustration and then focus on the things or circumstances that we do not want… the bottlenecks, delays or people who don’t seem to “get it”.

When we go into the issue, we make it harder to move forward because we are investing our precious energy on the problem, rather than the “desired outcome”.

To turn on the light, concentrate on the solution.

1. Know what you want and focus on that. Picture the perfect process, group interaction, result or outcome. What does it look and feel like? That’s what you want and once you make that mental shift, your mind starts working on the steps to help you get where you want to go.

2. Brainstorm a list of possible solutions. Don’t edit here; just have fun thinking of ideas to help you create what you envisioned in the previous step.

3. Engage others to help you. This expands your possibilities and builds a spirit of partnership as you make changes in your organization.

4. Review the entire list of strategies and ideas. You may find that you can combine your options or refine an approach to fit your desired outcome, budget and resources.

5. If you have multiple strategies you want to apply - start with the one that enables the fastest results. In this way, you build excitement and momentum as you expand into other areas.

If you’re stuck, consider that the simple things often work best especially when you’re first getting started with a new project, or if your team is experiencing a lot of change.

Until next time, stay in the light!
